I know it's a pretty big assumption that the VERA's PSG noise source will be an LFSR. But if it is an LFSR, would it be easy to re-use the pulse wave's duty cycle bits to adjust the length of the LFSR, such as from 15 bits to 7? This was useful on the Gameboy because a shorter LFSR produced a more "metallic" sounding noise effect, and it could be interesting to play with that idea further.
